This Privacy Policy explains how Revvy (“Revvy”, “the App”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) collects, uses, stores, and protects information when you use the Revvy mobile application and related services.
By using Revvy, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with this Privacy Policy, please do not use the App.
1. Overview
Revvy is a personal vehicle maintenance tracker. It allows users to organize vehicle information, service history, maintenance records, mileage, costs, notes, reminders, documents, and related vehicle data.
Revvy is designed to store user data locally on the device by default. Some optional features, such as cloud backup, sync, account access, or Pro features, may require third-party services.
We do not sell your personal data. We do not use your personal data for third-party advertising. We do not knowingly track you across apps and websites owned by other companies.
2. Information You Provide
Depending on how you use the App, you may provide information such as:
- Vehicle details, including make, model, year, mileage, fuel type, license plate, VIN, or other vehicle identifiers if you choose to enter them.
- Maintenance and service records, including dates, mileage, costs, notes, service type, parts, repairs, inspections, oil changes, tire work, or other custom records.
- Vehicle documents or images, such as registration, insurance, inspection records, receipts, or other files you choose to add.
- Notes, reminders, preferences, and other information you manually enter into the App.
- Account information, such as your email address or authentication identifier, if you choose to create an account or use cloud features.
You are responsible for the accuracy and legality of the information you choose to enter or upload.
3. Information Collected Automatically
The App may collect limited technical information automatically through trusted third-party services used for app functionality, analytics, crash reporting, subscription or purchase management, and optional cloud services.
This may include:
- Device type and model
- Operating system version
- App version
- Crash logs and diagnostic data
- Performance data
- Anonymous or pseudonymous usage events
- Purchase status and entitlement information
- Authentication identifiers when account features are used
These services may include, depending on the current version of the App:
- Firebase Crashlytics, for crash reporting and diagnostics.
- Firebase Analytics, for understanding general app usage and improving the product.
- Firebase Authentication, for optional account access.
- Firebase Firestore or other Firebase services, for optional cloud backup and sync features.
- RevenueCat, for managing in-app purchases, purchase status, and Pro feature access.
4. How We Use Information

5. Local Storage
By default, your vehicle data may be stored locally on your device. Local data remains on your device unless you delete it, uninstall the App, reset your device, or use features that remove your data.
Local data may also be included in device backups depending on your device settings and Apple services. These backups are controlled by Apple and your device configuration, not by Revvy.
6. Optional Cloud Features
If you create an account, sign in, enable cloud backup, enable cloud sync, or use cloud-based Pro features, some of your data may be stored using third-party cloud infrastructure.
Cloud data may include vehicle records, maintenance history, documents, notes, account identifiers, and related app data necessary to provide those features.
Cloud features are optional unless a specific feature clearly requires them.
7. In-App Purchases
Revvy may offer optional paid features through Apple in-app purchases. Purchase processing is handled by Apple. We may use RevenueCat or similar services to verify purchase status, manage entitlements, restore purchases, and unlock Pro features.
We do not receive or store your full payment card details.
8. Data Sharing
We may share limited information with service providers only as needed to operate the App, provide functionality, process purchases, diagnose crashes, analyze app performance, store optional cloud data, or provide support.
We do not sell your personal data. We do not share your personal data with advertisers for targeted advertising.
9. Data Retention
Local data remains on your device until you delete it, delete specific records, uninstall the App, or otherwise remove it.
Cloud data, if used, may be retained while your account or cloud features remain active. If you request deletion or use an available account deletion feature, we will delete or anonymize applicable cloud data where technically and legally possible.
Some records may be retained for a limited period if required for legal, security, fraud prevention, purchase verification, dispute resolution, or compliance purposes.
10. Data Deletion and User Rights
Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete personal information associated with your use of the App.
You can edit or delete vehicle records directly inside the App where supported. If account deletion or data export features are available in the App, you may use them directly.

11. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information. However, no app, device, network, storage system, or cloud service can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your device, Apple ID, account credentials, backups, and any files or documents you choose to store.
12. Children's Privacy
Revvy is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the App, please contact us.
13. International Users
The App and its service providers may process information in countries other than your own. By using the App, you understand that information may be processed and stored where our service providers operate.
14. Third-Party Services
The App may rely on third-party services such as Apple, Firebase, Google Cloud, RevenueCat, or similar providers. These providers process information according to their own terms and privacy policies.
15. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the “Last updated” date. Continued use of the App after changes become effective means you accept the updated policy.
